LISE LE GUELLEC, BIATHLON
I would like to introduce to you a member who has been with us for awhile now. Her name is Lise Le Guellec. She is a Canadian Athlete and her sport is the Biathlon competition. She is truly amazing!!! She trains hard and she is extremely focused and determined. She is definitely dedicated to her sport. She is also a mother of two grown boys, one is a biathlete just like his mother and was world juvenile champion in 2004 and the other has just joined the armed forces and is currently going through his 6 week training camp. Lise has been very involved in the training of her Son Jean-Philippe and has never looked back. By the way, Lise is also an officer in the reserve forces and regularly conducts training camps for kids to try to create an awareness of this sport to young cadets and also in different school programs as well to initiate young kids and teenagers to biathlon around the area via a portable trailer she purchased for that purpose. I have included a link from Lise’s newsletter that I invite you to read. Lise is an excellent example of what hard work and dedication means when you put your mind to it. Just read her bio on her site and you will see why! Good Luck in 2010 Lise, you are an incredible example for all of us to keep up our training, just to keep up with you!!!
